Who we are

A motivated, friendly and open team to promote discussion and collective learning. We work in close collaboration with the 'Le Dépôt' team and make every effort to make your urban vegetable garden projects a success.

Alejandra Pérez

Behind the scenes and on the forefront, Alejandra plans, organizes and animates the collective gardens. She sees food as a medicine and gardening as a way to share our knowledge and build and transform our communities. She enjoys languages ​​and bike repairs, and often spends those Friday evenings cooking with friends, making music and reading.

Carole-Anne Lapierre

Mother of two wonderful princesses, Carole-Anne is an agronomist who graduated from McGill University. She chose urban agriculture to help improve the quality of life of people by creating edible spaces in cities! In her spare time, she hikes in the mountains and, oh surprise, gardening!

Liz Colford

Liz is a woodworker who has been designing and building new wooden products for Ca Pousse. Coming from a youth-work background , her attitude to woodworking projects could be summed up as "DIY Together". Her other hobbies include writing zines and exploring by bike.

Mathieu Tosolini

With a Master in Environment, I am passionate about biodiversity management.  Titulaire d'une maitrise en environnement, je suis passionné par la gestion de la biodiversité. Greening is my hobbyhorse, and urban agriculture is a great tool to connect and reconnect communities together and with the nature.

Pascale Nycz

Geographer, Pascale has been interested in urban agriculture for years et she likes to share her passion during the events she animates for ça pousse! She previously worked in the educational environment and in communications, she started in 2019 a doctorate in Urban studies and enjoys to ride her bike and do yoga in her free time.

Armelle Dumas

Studying in environment and sustainable development, she is passionate about the issues around a socio-ecological systemic transition, and especially regarding the food system. Linguist from previous studies, she combines her two passions by cooking - with more or less success- dishes from around the world.

Leni Krivy

Leni is originally from Toronto but is currently based in Montreal where she has been lucky enough to work as a playwright, actress and producer of theatre. Leni is interested in urban agriculture as a creative tool for community building. She is thrilled to be doing social media marketing for Ça pousse!

Edith Mora Castelán

By studying international relations and political science, I'm interested in togetherness and  peace culture, from there comes my passion for ecology and native spirituality. I love working with kids who are especially receptive to natural cycles. Apart from gardening and native culture workshops, I fancy simultaneous interpretation, yoga and paddle (at the right season).
